Dr. Clement Abas Apaak, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Builsa South Constituency, has provided 720 sets of mathematical instruments to final year Junior High School (JHS) students preparing for their Basic Certificate Examination.
This annual support aims to assist the students in their academic pursuits.
The NDC Builsa South Deputy Communication Officer, Akogtu Danielin, conveyed that the donation was a part of the MP’s ongoing commitment to education and empowerment, especially for the youth and women who often face challenges in accessing resources.
Richard Kazi, the NDC Constituency Secretary, represented Dr. Apaak during the presentation and reaffirmed the MP’s dedication to promoting education and development within the constituency.
Dr. Apaak views education as a crucial tool for societal progress and has consistently directed his efforts and personal resources toward this cause since 2016.
The Builsa South District Director of Education expressed gratitude for the donation, emphasizing its timeliness and potential impact on needy students.
He highlighted that the mathematical sets would be beneficial for the students’ preparation before their examinations.
In addition to the mathematical sets, the Director also requested support from Dr. Apaak to provide transportation for students coming from distant communities to their examination centers.
The MP agreed to this request and is collaborating with the NDC chairman of Builsa South, Mr. Ceaser Akinkang, to ensure that the necessary assistance is provided.
Dr. Clement Apaak’s efforts to support education and the empowerment of youth continue to positively impact the Builsa South Constituency, fostering an environment conducive to learning and growth.
